Team for Arsenal
So, once again it will be interesting to see if we can raise our game against one of the big boys and local rivals. In terms of team selection, the main issue for discussion is surely what, if anything, we can do to improve our faltering attack.

Some might argue that Antonio has been getting a free pass for long enough, but what's the alternative? Neither Yarmolenko nor Bowen have done anything to commend themselves up front, and young Perkins clearly isn't ready yet. So for me, Antonio stays.

Benrahma has offered little of late, and needs to be dropped for this one. Bowen stays on the right and I would restore Fornals to the centre - we missed him. On the left I am going to be controversial and pick Masuaku. I thought he was really good going forward - one of very few positives from the Burnley game. We all know he can't defend, but he does seem to be showing some form in attack, so for me, we should make the most of that.

I know he's been disappointing of late but I wouldn't give up on Benrahma just yet, he's our most creative player when on form. He's also a confidence player so I hope Moyes puts his arm around him and tells him he's starting and can do the job for us:

I assume that Lanzini's been dropped from most people's team because he didn't do much vs Burnley. I don't think that was the right game for him. He's better when coming from deep, and makes the midfield more solid, which will suit vs Arsenal.

As for Masuaku, it's amazing what a flukey goal will do for someone's standing. As an attacker at best he's like Benrahma on a bad day so I don't see the benefit.

I don't think I have ever said this before in 50+ years of supporting West Ham. We have a real chance here, we're man for man better than Arsenal in my belief and we should go for them. They were flattered totally against Southampton and we need to give it a right go.

I was surprised that Said was brought off. It wasn't coming off for him, but he seemed one of the few players able to break their defensive line. A bit more patience and maybe one of his tricks might have finally come off and put us ahead.

I'm still not convinced that Lanzini does enough to justify a starting position. He's "comfortable on the ball," but that's about it. Comfortable on the ball + no penetration = draw.

Re: Team for Arsenal
ludo - I would say Benrahma had only two good moments in the Burnley game - the header and the turn that took him into the box. Apart from that, it was the usual running up blind alleys and poor final balls. Masuaku offered a great deal more.

Nagel - I'm basing my selection of Masuaku much more on the Burnley game than the goal against Chelsea.

Benrahma over Masuaku or Lanzini.

The rest picks itself.

I’d drop Arthur and the 2 out of form players, Benny and Antonio.

Refocus the mind of both players.

Bowen up the middle.

Have Antonio to come on for Vlasic and put Bowen out wide after 60-70 mins if the game is level or we’re behind.

Didn't Longelo play for the U23's today?

Lanzini has one start and now he is dropped?

He is getting up to speed and should stay in the lineup. We are crying out for someone to give a bit of creativity and pick some locks and he is the only player that can do that.

Antonio Lanzini Vlasic

Switchero Antonio and Bowen throughout the match to keep the Arsenal defence guessing.

Fornals in with Rice because Soucek needs a rest. He is leggy.

I'm in the same boat as Nagel.
Masuaku is a passenger and a disruptive one too.
He got in a couple of great positions but again and again failed to find his team mate. He had a right go at Bowen when a slightly off pass to him he was unable to control and went out for a throw in. Pathetic.
He lost his man, gave the ball away and looks lost.
A truely awful player. We lost a good chance to see if Longelo could do something different against a poor Burnley team.
You keep a player in the team who can't defend, can't assist and can't run back.Put him in the attack where he can hide away. Wow.
He was not good against Burnley.

Coufal Dawson Diop Cresswell

I'm resting Antonio for the Norwich game where he should score another 4 like last time.
